Sudbury Camp

What is the Lafayette Sudbury Experience Camp?

Our Sudbury Experience Camp is an opportunity for potential Sudbury students ages 4 to 15 to experience the freedom and challenges of life at Lafayette Sudbury School and a chance to learn more about our model. It is also an opportunity for children to enjoy life in the slow lane with no mandated assignment and no particular schedule to follow, and plenty for them to do if they choose to.

Among the activities available are arts and crafts, music, cooking, knitting, French, gardening, board/card games, scrapbooking, sewing, hanging out, great conversations, water games, fishing excursion to a pond nearby, photography, and more… Students are also more than welcome to bring their electronic devices and work on their own projects (we will have wifi available).

The camp will be June 6th-10th and June 13th-17th.

The cost is $225/week for the first child and we offer sibling discounts. Parents who choose to enroll at our school for the fall will have a portion of their camp fees deducted from their yearly tuition.

Hours are 8:30am-4pm (parents can drop-off and pick-up  anytime during those hours)

Students should bring a lunch or something to cook in our kitchen. We will be providing healthy snacks.

We are giving priority to parents and students who are interested in attending Lafayette Sudbury School in the fall. We will accept others if there are spots left. Space is limited, so reserve yours now.
